June 2019: In Brief

I apologize for the delay in this “In Brief” post for June 2019. I opened my own practice earlier last month and some things, like writing, had to take a back seat. Here is my In Brief for June 2019 and stay tuned for new comments on the National Inquiry’s findings in its final report in this space!

June: In Brief

In June 2019

  • I started my own practice in June.

  • I celebrated my one-year anniversary of being a lawyer by writing this post.

  • I wrote an op-ed on the final report from National Inquiry into MMIWG2S.

  • I commented on the use of the term genocide in the final report.

  • I made some comments on the National Inquiry's conclusions on some radio shows: the Charles Adler show; the Arlene Bynon show; and the Jon McComb show (I may be missing a show or two).

  • For July, I am doing a final session on trauma-informed advocacy. Check it out!
